Taking a break from my practice in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, currently I have been pursuing my PhD in law and governance in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Earlier I did my graduation in law and LLM from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Alongside my study, I have also been engaged in a participatory action research project. The project aims at exploring whether and how the common people can have better access to justice under the existing state-led quasi-judicial rural justice systems (the Village Courts and Arbitration Councils). The project’s activities can be found at Rural Justice Initiative, Bangladesh’s website. Thanks.
